So, obviously I have been suckered in to this whole blogging thing! If you can't beat them, join them! This big step was made easier, though, with all of the fun blog backgrounds! :) I could hardly decide which one to use.
Anyhoo, to tell ya'll about me...I am Monica. I am from Oklahoma and I love it!!! It's a great place and it is not some deserted ghost-town state; it's actually very green and gorgeous...except in winter.
(So funny side story about not very pretty Oklahoma winters. I've spent my whole life in Oklahoma and had only experienced brown Christmases. So, one day when I was about 7 my mom and I were just bopping about town when I exclaim, "Mom! It's starting to look like Christmas!!!" My mom looked out the window and sees the brown-ness and the dead looking trees. She told me a few years later that she cried a little to herself, lamenting that her child thinks brown sticks equals a winter wonderland. [She's from Canada so she knows what real White Christamses are all about])
Continuing my self-explanation. I am currently attending Brigham Young University and applying for the English education program. I am silly, spontaneous, and (usually) optimistic. I love life ever so much!
And my last bit of explanation is about my blog name and title. When I was approximately 4 years old I was (and still am) dramatic and vivacious. I decided that my name was Monica Darling and I refused to answer to anything else. My family would be talking to me and I sat there ignoring them until they said my new name. And so, I became Monica Darling!
