HARE KRISHNA!
A couple of weeks ago my roommates and I went to the Indian temple down in Spanish Fork for their little Festival of Colors. I don't really know what the history of it is but in essence, you get to throw colored chalk at people!!! Cool, eh?!?Here we are when we're nice and clean at the top of the Temple
Rachel, Nicole, Yours Truly, and Allie
LLAMAS! I love llamas and have always wanted one.
So, I was thrilled that I could pet and feed these doofers.
They were so good and didn't even attempt to spit on me once. BUT,
my roommate, Allie, didn't have the same luxury.
As soon as she got about a foot away (She wouldn't go any closer)
The llama sneezed on her...and it was chunky...Poor lil Allie!
(P.S. I laughed until I about peed my pants! I'm just a good friend, I guess)
Nicole and Rachel!
(Before the ceremony actually started, they kept saying to Al and me,
"You're too clean!!!!"
and then followed by throwing chalk at us! )
CHALKY HOTTIES!
All of our white articles of clothing are now permanently pink!
This is seriously the coolest thing EVER. If you can, you should seriously attend! But, be sure to bring something to cover your mouth and nose. If you don't, you will have slight difficulty in breathing and a horrid taste in your mouth during the chalk throw. It also makes your throat dry out, making you wish you had brought that water bottle on the table along. The side effects continue. You may notice a change in your snot. Instead of the healthy clear (or green-ish if you are sick) color, it will be purple....which makes it very awkward when you blow your nose in public...
